Ray Charles At Super Bowl XXXV (2001)

The Super Bowl XXXV was played on January 28, 2001 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The Baltimore Ravens (16–4) defeated the National Football Conference (NFC) champion New York Giants (14–5), 34–7. Ray Charles, Sting, Styx, and PYT were part of a pre-game show titled Life's Super In Central Florida. To honor the 225th anniversary of the birth of the United States, he performed America The Beautiful. The program was directed by Robert Matina, and broadcast by CBS.
