Ray interviewed after seeing Reagen
(video still).
The ABC News of 20 June 1985 showed the "Arrival and departure of singer Ray Charles and Alexandre Hay, president of [...] the Red Cross", at the White House. They visited Ronald Reagan, lobbying for the Red Cross, and pleading for the disabled.
After the visit, Ray was interviewed at the steps of the White House. Ray had to deny that he had discussed the situation in the Middle East with Reagan, after a sharp question from one of the reporters.
