3 comments:

  1. The show listed for 1 Dec 1987 is incorrect, The correct date is 1 Sept 1987. I attended that show.
The Sternwheel Regatta was an outdoor festival that was always held the last week of August/first week of September.

  2. Miles Davis - The Autobiography by Quincy Troupe says "The year 1987 started off with Cicely taking me down to Wash¬ington to a party she was invited to attend by President Rea¬gan and his wife, Nancy. They were giving a Lifetime Achievement Award to Ray Charles and some other prominent people, with an awards show at the Kennedy Center. Cicely and I went down to help Ray celebrate. " p.378 (Chapter 19)

BUT I can't find the info here? The autobiography is wrong? When did it happen?

    Thanks!
