Ray Charles On Saturday Live (1996)

Saturday Live was a London Weekend Television program that was broadcast between 1996 and 1998. Ray, his whole orchestra and The Raelettes were on in the second show of the first season, but the only complete tune they played was Hit The Road Jack ("Odd choice since the entire horn section sat there not playing a note," Chuck Parrish remembers. "I think we played What'd I Say during the ending credits. Another thing that was cut off before the horns came in..."
The program was directed by Ian Hamilton, and presented by Lee Hurst. It aired on 22 June 1996.
